The Shire of Iron Ox is located in Jackson, MS. Iron Ox is a chapter of an international organization dedicated to the research and recreation of pre-17th century European history called the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).

The Shire of Iron Ox is located in the central region of the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann. It was founded in A.S. XIII and continues to thrive today.  Members currently meet Sundays at 2:00 p.m. at Winners Circle Park in Flowood, MS.
