Events Check List
There are always a list of things folks need to take with them during an event. Here are some of the things you'll need for a weekend event.
Photo ID (must have)
Membership Card (must have) - Non essential to newbies.
Garb 1 to 3 suits - under garmets, tunics, pants, belt, purses/ pouch, boots, or sandles depending on weather or garb.
Toiletries -- Don't forget your Towel, bath cloth, and soap, razor, and tooth brush, and tooth paste. You may need Toilet Paper or wet wipes depending. Sometimes you just run out of paper, or someone used it all up. Hair brush, comb.. etc.
Feast Gear - Plate, goblet or mug, fork, knife, spoon, bowl, table cloth, dish soap, and yet another towel.
Sleeping Gear - Bed roll, pillow, sheet, blanket, 2 additional sheets for privacy or light blocking, maybe padding depending on the person.
Tent or Cabin - ups and downs
Tent - plastic or blue tarp to go under the tent, shovel for trenching, tent pegs, ( rake, broom depends on the person)
Other stuff -- axe, fire pit
Cabin - As mentioned before in Sleeping Gear - two additional sheets for privacy or to block lighting it goes around the bunk bed, also good for changing clothes on winter mornings. The sheets keep it a little warmer than the temp of the cabin in the mornings.
Insect repellent, sunscreen, trash bags, snacks, water, and allergy medicine.
Lets not forget things such as food for meals (unless you are doing feast), snack foods, drinks, water, blankets, tankard, adult beverages of choice if desired and the site permits them, eating utensils, charcoal, lighter fluid, trash bags.
Flashlight or Lantern -- simple oil camping type or you can buy or make your own that holds a candle. Extra food items such as bread, cheese, and summer style sausage for lunch, back-up feast, or late night snack. Bottled water.
Camera and a notebook of some sort as well as writing utensils.
